Springfield College Making Theater in Communities Video Presentation

Springfield College Visual and Performing Arts Chair Martin Shell led his Making Theater in Communities class through their final exam last week. One of the presentations was titled "The Craze," and it is a performance that represents the emotions students felt during the remote learning experiences they went through to conclude the spring semester.

The students performing were Nicole Henkel, Angelina Cohen, and Natalia Kompocholi. The assignment was to collaborate on creating an original performance piece that could include video, but that should also have live and spontaneous elements shared with the class as part of the piece. The students were to take advantage of openly theatrical techniques, and to make work that showed their investment in current and relevant issues. Watch Video Presentation...
