Springfield College has been recognized as one of the best online colleges in Massachusetts for 2024 by Forbes Advisor.

“We are pleased to have our undergraduate online bachelor's degree programs be recognized by Forbes Advisor. At Springfield College, we pride ourselves in the personalized attention that we provide to our students along with our excellent academic programs,” said Mary Ann Coughlin, Springfield College Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs.

Springfield College offers 21 online-specific programs (part time and full time) at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. Programs include Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Human Services, Master of Business Administration in Non-Profit Management, Organizational Leadership, and Speech-Language Pathology.

Forbes Advisor scored schools based on the categories of credibility, affordability, student outcomes, student experience, and application process.

In selecting Springfield College, Forbes Advisor noted that the College “offers online bachelor’s degrees with majors that prepare students for careers in human services and the nonprofit sector. The school developed its online programs guided by the Humanics philosophy, emphasizing leadership in service to others. Admission requirements include a high school diploma or GED certificate and at least 15 college credits. Springfield College has a prior learning assessment program that lets students apply credit toward their degree for personal or professional experiences outside the classroom.”
