Springfield College Unveils Upgraded Laundry Experience for Campus Community
Springfield College proudly announces its entirely upgraded laundry experience and service for residential students to enjoy on the campus starting in the 2021 fall semester.
“As students return to campus at Springfield College, they will have the benefit of an entirely upgraded experience doing laundry,” said Springfield College Vice President for Finance and Administration William Guerrero. “In addition to all new commercial Speed Queen front load washers and dryers, the College’s laundry service partner Automatic Laundry, replaced most of the dryer ventilation system which will dramatically improve the clothes drying process."
All Springfield College upgraded laundry services continue to be free for residential students. Students will not have to budget for extra resources when cleaning their laundry on campus, and the current laundry system allows for a more cost-effective and easy-to-use program for the College and the campus community.
Additionally, Automatic Laundry also upgraded its proprietary LaundryConnect™ that links the commercial washers and dryers installed across campus to the internet. Students will continue to have access to a laundry monitoring web page that shows the availability of machines in real time and can opt to be e-mailed or texted when machines become available, or when their laundry cycle is finished.
In addition, with LaundryConnect™, real-time service alerts are sent from the washers and dryers directly to the Automatic Laundry’s service team. Automatic Laundry is now able to remotely repair over 80-percent of equipment breakdowns before students and staff become aware of the malfunctioning machine.
