The city of Springfield was ranked as one of the top 100 cities to live in the United States by U.S.News and World Report. The report focused on the most important concerns people have about where to live such as cost of living, employment opportunities, and access to good schools. Springfield was cited as being the Pioneer Valley’s economic hub and an academic center for students.
