Video Streaming
Position Summary:
The Video Streaming Student Assistant supports the college’s live and recorded event coverage by assisting with video streaming operations. This position is ideal for students interested in media production, broadcasting, or communications.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate cameras, microphones, and streaming equipment during live events (e.g., athletics, lectures, campus programs).
Assist with setup and breakdown of streaming gear, including testing connections and ensuring equipment is functioning properly.
Monitor live streams to ensure consistent audio/video quality.
Troubleshoot basic technical issues as they arise.
Upload and organize recorded video content for future use.
Collaborate with staff and other student assistants to support smooth event production.
Qualifications:
Must be a currently enrolled student in good academic standing.
Interest in video production, streaming, or media technology.
Basic knowledge of cameras, video/audio equipment, or streaming software (training will be provided).
Dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in fast-paced event settings.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Evening and weekend availability required for event coverage.
