Donor Engagement Assistant
Students will focus on updating alumni contact info, soliciting donations, confirming event registrations, and building relationships with constituents of the College through phone calls, texts, handwritten notes, or event participation. Schedule: Mon-Thurs, 4:30pm-9:00pm.
This position requires strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to maintain positivity and professionalism in high-stress situations, the ability to think strategically in a fast-paced environment, and a genuine affinity for Springfield College.
Working on the Donor Engagement team is an excellent opportunity to develop your knowledge and expertise in communication, fundraising, sales, and public relations.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Serve as an ambassador by establishing an open line of communication between Springfield College and its supporters.
• Gain a greater understanding of Springfield College, its organizational structure, and its annual need for financial support.
• Call constituents (alumni, families, friends of Springfield College) to build personal rapport, update demographic information, and acquire gifts to Springfield College.
• Work with other callers in a team-oriented environment to achieve institutional goals.
• Handle personal information with extreme confidentiality.
• Have a great time and make new friends!
