Donor Engagement Manager
Supervises and trains Donor Engagement Assistants who will work on a variety of tasks related to solicitation, engagement, and stewardship of Springfield College donors mainly through phone-a-thon. Possible hrs: Mon.-Thurs, 4:00pm-9:00pm, Fri, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.
This position requires strong organization, verbal and written communication skills, the ability to maintain positivity and professionalism in high-stress situations, the ability to think strategically in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and a genuine affinity for Springfield College.

Responsibilities and Duties
• Oversee the Donor Engagement Assistant team during scheduled shifts including monitoring attendance, sharing important announcements, answering caller questions, and coordination of call sheets at the end of each shift.
• Keeping Donor Engagement Assistant records up to date.
• Liaise with Director of Development to ensure work flow will continue uninterrupted.
• Training new callers as callers are added.
• Serve as an ambassador by establishing an open line of communication between Springfield College and its supporters.
• Gain a greater understanding of Springfield College, its organizational structure, and its annual need for financial support.
• Call constituents (alumni, families, friends of Springfield College) to build personal rapport, update demographic information, and acquire gifts to Springfield College.
• Work with other callers in a team-oriented environment to achieve institutional goals.
• Handle personal information with extreme confidentiality.
