Education Preparation & Licensure-Student Assistant
Primary Duties
- Electronic File Management: Assist the GA with organizing, renaming, and archiving digital files related to student practicum, CAP, and licensure documentation.
- Inventory Checks: Track supply levels (folders, forms, office materials) and notify staff when restocking is needed. May help place orders
- Phone & Front Desk Support: Answer and route phone calls professionally; take messages as needed.
- Office Organization: Assist with maintaining organized digital and physical filing systems (e.g., binders, folders, tracking sheets).
- Printing & Copying: Support with printing handouts for presentations, meetings, or licensure workshops.
- Mailings & Communication: Help assemble packets, address envelopes, or support email outreach to current students and alumni.
- Bulletin Board Maintenance: Update office bulletin boards with announcements, deadlines, or student success stories.
Occasional Tasks (as time allows)
- Newsletter Drafting: (If the student has relevant skills) assist the Assistant Director in developing the Ed Prep Newsletter by compiling materials and developing short blurbs or quotes, for email newsletters or department updates.
- Meeting Preparation & Support:
- Assist with preparing materials, setting up rooms and providing logistical support for student information sessions, licensure meetings or other departmental events.
- Send calendar invitations, reminders, and Zoom links to student groups as needed.

- Hourly Rate: $12.00 per hour
