Practicum
Students in the Athletic Training program will complete a practicum in their area of specialization (rehabilitation, administration, or education/professional preparation), which will provide them the opportunity to gain experience and knowledge in their specific area of focus.
This hands-on experience helps students after they graduate, as they’ll have an advanced degree as well as be knowledgeable and experienced in the field.
Our many outstanding clinical education collaborators include The College of the Holy Cross Athletics, Cape Cod Baseball League, Bolshoi Ballet, Harvard College Athletics, Red Sox Baseball Organization and affiliates, Work-Fit Industrial Athletic Training, Surgi-Care Inc., Baystate Medical Center, WellStar Medical Center-Atlanta, University of Massachusetts Athletics, Loomis-Chaffe School, and other outstanding public and independent high schools and public and private colleges.
