Mathematics and Education: Grades 5-12

The Springfield College Mathematics and Education: Grades 5-12 teacher licensure program allows students to combine their passion for numbers with their fervor for teaching. The undergraduate experience begins by immersing students in mathematics courses, then continues by preparing future teachers to lead classrooms of students grades 5-8 or 8-12. Graduates successfully secure employment to teach in a wide range of settings, including in urban, suburban, and rural areas.

"I met my favorite people on Springfield College's campus in the Math Department. They made me feel so welcomed into the College and seemed interested in my future." Jennifer Brzostek, Graduate Class of 2026
