The Wellness Institute

Blending comprehensive health assessments, targeted strength training, and meaningful education, the Muscle & Menopause program at Springfield College empowers women to better understand their bodies, build strength, and take control of their health.

Designed specifically for perimenopausal and postmenopausal women, this science-backed program combines measurable results with practical strategies to help participants feel stronger, more confident, and better equipped to navigate the changes associated with menopause.

This program provides participants with practical tools, knowledge, and confidence to support lifelong health and wellness.

Pre- and Post-Program Health Assessments

Progress is about more than what you see in the mirror. Participants complete pre- and post-program health assessments to measure changes in strength, power, body composition, cardiovascular health, posture, movement, and mindset. These assessments provide meaningful data and a clearer picture of individual progress throughout the program.

Small-Group Training

Experience workouts designed by Springfield College faculty specifically for the needs of the menopausal body. Participants complete 20 small-group training sessions focused on improving strength, power, and agility while building confidence in their physical abilities. Training sessions are led by students in the Strength and Conditioning graduate program. Space is limited.

Education That Empowers

Knowledge is an essential part of long-term success. Through on-demand educational sessions, participants gain a deeper understanding of menopause, exercise, nutrition, and mindset, along with practical strategies to maintain healthy habits and continue making progress long after the program ends.

“One of the most meaningful parts of the experience was being surrounded by women going through similar changes in their lives. We could talk openly about what we were experiencing, encourage one another, and realize that we weren't alone. There is something incredibly powerful about finding that kind of support while doing something so positive for yourself.”
