We want to assist you in financing your Springfield College graduate education. The first step is to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the required form for all federal and state aid program. On the FAFSA, indicate the Springfield College code number 002211.

Fill out the FAFSA. Loan Programs.

Federal Financial Aid Programs

Springfield College participates in the following federal student aid programs for graduate students: work-study, Direct GRAD PLUS Loan, Perkins Loan, and Direct Unsubsidized Stafford Loan. All programs are subject to federal eligibility regulations.

Students who are accepted into a degree program and maintain a course load of 4.5 credits or more can be eligible to receive federal financial assistance.

Verification

Please note that some applications for financial aid are selected by the U.S. Department of Education for a process called verification. Selected applicants will be asked to submit the federal tax transcripts, W-2s, and other information required by law. Springfield College will notify selected applicants of the specific required documents/information.

An application for financial aid has no effect on the admission decision. Action is taken on the student’s financial aid application after the admission decision. Written notification is sent in the same sequence. Do not wait to receive an admission decision before applying for financial assistance.

If you have any changes in enrollment plans we ask that you let the the Office of Financial Aid know in writing.
