Vice President for Inclusion and Community Engagement Calvin Hill, Vice President for Student Affairs Slandie Dieujuste and Director of Multicultural Affairs Felicia Lundquist also greeted attendees as they transitioned from lunch to building authentic relationships with other students and enhancing their leadership skills to foster positive change on campus and in the greater community.

As the week continues, students will:

  • Receive guidance from an alliance of peers, faculty, and staff to ensure they are supported during time at Springfield College.
  • Have an opportunity to make friends within the Springfield College community, before the semester begins.
  • Learn about Springfield’s resources and participate in interactive workshops that will help them discover passions and find paths to success.
  • Explore topics of identity, leadership, and social justice.
  • Attend social events and workshops, activities, and events throughout the academic year to continue to build new leadership competencies.
