Writing and Reading Support Services offers students help with all aspects of the writing and reading processes.
Writing and Reading Support Services tutors help students with writing tasks such as getting a paper started, refining ideas, organizing a paper, employing persuasive strategies, using proper citation techniques, and improving grammar and usage. Peer tutors are available to help with numerous academic writing tasks, such as short assignments, lengthy essays, research papers, reviews of literature, and even graduate theses.
Our Writing and Reading Support Services tutors also assist students with reading strategies such as previewing textbook and articles, enhancing comprehension and retention of information, as well as expanding and utilizing vocabulary
We encourage students to make an appointment to see a tutor. Drop-in sessions are based on tutor availability.
