The Springfield College International Center works to foster the international character of our institution by promoting, supporting, and developing international and intercultural opportunities for members of our College community.
The International Center:
Assists international students through the complexities of F-1 and J-1 student immigration policies and requirements
Offers academic, social, personal, and cultural support for international students and scholars throughout their Springfield College experience
Advises undergraduate students on study abroad experiences in over 25 countries and offers programming to help students maximize their time abroad
Supports the development of faculty-led programs abroad, international engagement and international partnerships
Fosters and maintains a rich, supportive, and stimulating environment for international students, scholars, and faculty
Increases an understanding of, and respect for, the world’s many cultures in an effort to prepare our students as global leaders
Become a Mentor in New Global Mentorship Program to Assist International Students
The Global Mentorship Program assists new international undergraduate students in making a successful academic and personal transition to Springfield College, and helps them acquire cultural knowledge, make new friendships, and understand the campus resources available to them.
