Art and Design Learning Outcomes
Goal 1 : Demonstrate an understanding of the elements and principles of art and design.
- SLO 1 : Students will develop expressive fluency in the fundamentals of art and design, using them to explore themes of aesthetic, technical and conceptual complexity.
- SLO 2 : Students will be able to employ the elements and principles of art and design to develop a visual language and use that language for creative expression.
Goal 2 : Demonstrate visual, practical and technical skills in a variety of visual arts and design media.
- SLO 3 : Students will develop increasing competency in a variety of art and design mediums and technologies.
- SLO 4 : Students will demonstrate an understanding of the expressive qualities of each medium, making thoughtful connections between medium and content.
