Programs

The John M. Wilson Center offers the following services and programs:

Community Connections Pre-Orientation Program

The Community Connections (CC) Pre-Orientation Program is designed to assist first-year and incoming transfer students in making meaningful connections with other students, while also introducing them to campus resources. The experience consists of a free, three-day pre-orientation program followed by a six-week peer mentorship program led by The John M. Wilson Center staff and campus partners. The goal of the program is to support all new and first-generation college students in making a smooth transition to college.

The free-of-charge program will provide students with an opportunity for community building and will enhance their confidence in navigating college, self-advocacy, and exploring other cultures. Students from all identities are invited to participate in this unique experience.
