The Springfield College First Gen, First Look program is a free one-day program designed to give first-generation accepted students an inside look at college life. Shadow two classes, connect with current students, explore vital campus resources, and enjoy lunch in the dining hall. Envision your future as you experience Springfield College from a new perspective.

On March 9, 2026, current students and various club members will host accepted students on the Springfield College campus. Not a first-gen student? No worries, this program is open to all accepted students.
What Accepted Students Should Expect
- Attend two college classes with current students
- Learn about financial aid and student success options
- Learn how current students find connections on campus
- Discover resources so your admissions process is accessible, stress-free, and reflective of your needs and future goals
- Leave knowing all that Springfield College has to offer and feel confident navigating spaces as a student from a traditionally underrepresented community
