Jackie Benoit

Jackie grew up in North Providence, RI. She attended Springfield College for both her undergraduate and graduate studies, and after graduation, became a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC). She has worked in community mental health for several years before deciding to open her own private psychotherapy practice. She currently works one day a week at the Springfield College Counseling Center. Jackie’s favorite mental health tip is telling people to stop "shoulding" themselves; she finds this tip is helpful for people to be less judgmental of themselves and to help them decide their true wants and desires.
