Jessica Barrett is an associate professor of athletic training at Springfield College. In August 2022, she was named athletic training program director. Prior to her current role, she was an instructor and athletic trainer from 2014-18 at the University of Connecticut. She served as the academic coordinator of clinical education at Neumann University from 2008-2014. Barrett has published and presented regionally and nationally on subjects related to work-life balance, burnout, mentoring relationships, challenges for junior faculty, and faculty socialization. Additionally, she serves as a peer reviewer and member of the Review Team for the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education and on the Convention Programing Committee for the National Athletic Trainers' Association.
