Jessica Barrett is entering her second year as an assistant professor of athletic training at Springfield College. Prior to her current role, she was an instructor and athletic trainer from 2014-18 at the University of Connecticut. She served as the academic coordinator of clinical education at Neumann University from 2008-14. Barrett has published and presented regionally and nationally on subjects related to work-life balance, burnout, mentoring relationships, challenges for junior faculty, and faculty socialization. Additionally, Barrett serves as a site visitor and member of the Review Team for the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education.
