Mike Spry has written for the Toronto Star, FLOOD, Indiewire, The National Post, Maisonneuve, Pipeline Artists, TSN, and MTV, among many others, and is the author of three books: JACK, Distillery Songs, and Bourbon & Eventide. Spry has been recognized as a Canada Council for the Arts Grant recipient, longlisted for the Journey Prize, and shortlisted for the AM Klein Prize and ReLit Award. He was recently a semi-finalist in the Los Angeles Screenplay Awards, the ScreenCraft Cinematic Short Story Competition, and the Launch Pad Prose Competition. He lives in Vermont.
