Over the past two years as a chemistry educator, Sarah Hasan developed engaging lessons and laboratory experiments, implemented safety protocols for diverse learners, and utilized LMS platforms like Canvas to create inclusive, interactive learning environments. Beyond the classroom, her research portfolio includes undergraduate work at UAEU on host-guest dye-macrocycle systems, functionalized spent coffee grounds for water purification, and photocatalytic drug degradation. Hasan further honed her skills as a SULI intern at NREL, where she helped investigate the catalytic bias of hydrogen-evolving enzymes from Clostridium pasteurianum (CpIII).
