Will Arighi researches literary culture and aesthetic philosophy in colonial and postcolonial territories, particularly in Latin America and Southeast Asia. Secondary areas of interest are speculative fiction and the literary cultures of refugees. Professor Arighi has published, or is in the process of publishing, in numerous journals and collections, including Hispanic Review, Comparative Literature Studies, MELUS: Multi-Ethnic Literature of the Americas, and collections from Brill, MLA, and the Vibal Foundation.
