“When the swimming and diving coaches said that the natatorium needed a high-tech scoreboard system in order to better host major events, I felt they were correct and wanted to help. I was thrilled to make the lead gift, and to contact other swimming and diving alumni who have the same strong feelings for the College and for our sport. Swimming at Springfield kept me focused as a student—that spirit-mind-body connection. It showed me that, with hard work and determination, you can achieve whatever you want. Albert Bronander, a former All-American swimmer, is president of SnowMagic, Inc. The company uses a patented process to make snow for recreation, special events, and has equipment located at entertainment venues around the world.
