Korey Boyd, PhD, assistant professor of physical education and health education, is involved with the following organizations in 2021: SHAPE America Publications Advisory Committee, Professional Preparation Council for SHAPE America, SHAPE America social justice co-chair, and Massachusetts Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance Executive Board Higher Education Committee member.
Ian G. Delahanty, PhD, associate professor of history, was appointed in August 2021 as one of nine residents in Westborough, Mass., to the Town Seal Review Committee. The committee members will review the town seal in order to determine if its inclusion of a cotton gin should lead to a redesign and, if so, how the town should select a new seal. He was selected for the committee on the basis of his expertise in 19th-century American history, especially the history of American slavery.
Jasmin C. Hutchinson, PhD, professor of exercise science, was appointed chair of the Fellows Review Committee for the Association of Applied Sport Psychology in June 2021.
Kathleen M. Neville, EdD, associate professor of education and program director for educational leadership, was appointed to the Campus Racial Justice and Decolonization Expectations Task Force of the American College Personnel Association (ACPA) in spring 2021. The task force is working toward implementing the ACPA strategic imperative.
Lori Vaughn, OTD, professor and chair of the Department of Occupational Therapy, was appointed to the Roster of Accreditation Evaluators for the Accreditation Council of Occupational Therapy Education, the national occupational therapy accrediting organization in September 2021.
