Summer-June Orientation Leader

The selection process for June Orientation Leaders begins in May.

June Orientation Leaders will return to campus from June 15–19, 2026 for training and preparation, and will assist with the five days of June Orientation taking place June 22–25, 2026.

General Responsibilities for All Leaders Include:

  • Answering questions about the College in a positive, professional, and responsible manner
  • Assisting with program logistics, including assembling information packets, posting signage, conducting campus tours, and supporting other program-related projects
  • Making appropriate referrals for students and family members seeking additional information
  • Facilitating participant engagement and interaction
  • Promoting on-campus involvement and responsible academic habits
  • Maintaining consistent communication through Springfield College email

Qualifications Include:

  • Ability to relate effectively with students, parents, and family members
  • Active involvement in co-curricular activities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Familiarity with Springfield College programs, policies, and campus resources
  • A positive attitude toward Springfield College and the student experience
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50
  • Good judicial standing with the College

Compensation:

  • $15.00 per hour (taxable)
  • Housing and some meals will be provided during training and Orientation sessions
