Physician assistant degree requirements

A master’s degree is considered the terminal degree in PA education by the Physician Assistant Education Association.

At Springfield College, we offer a six-year physician assistant program during which you’ll earn a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science. Graduates are eligible to sit for the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistant National Certification Exam and apply for state licensure.
