Graduate School
Many students go on to advance their education in programs like the Springfield College graduate programs, specifically the Master of Social Work.
Experiential Learning
All Social Work majors complete a two-semester senior-year practicum. They will be working directly with a social worker in their placement, receive supervision, and take on-campus courses which support them in this endeavor. Students who are interested in research can do independent research with faculty. Our Social Work and Social Justice Club has events throughout the year, including hosting an annual speaker night which is entirely run by the students. In the past, this event had over 100 attendees.
