Structured Literacy
In the summer of 2026, some students in Springfield College Education programs participated in professional development training in teaching literacy and then served as Literacy Intervention Teachers (LITs). The Western Mass Literacy Collaborative-run program, through the work of the participating teachers, helps hundreds of local students improve their reading skills.
Senior Meraj Husen and two of his friends and classmates, Camilly Shrestha and Dikshya Upadhyaya, let their curiosity about credit cards lead them to development of an app that helps credit card users shop smarter.
