Know the Facts: Alcohol and Sex
Alcohol lowers your inhibitions and interferes with decision-making, which makes for some potentially dangerous sexual situations.
As many as 70 percent of college students admit to having engaged in sexual activity primarily as a result of being under the influence of alcohol, or to having sex they wouldn't have had if they had been sober.
It's important to know that you cannot give consent for sex if you are incapacitated (too drunk to know what's going on). This means that even if both you and your partner have been drinking, you could still be held responsible for sexual violence.
