Housing and Residence Life Leadership Opportunities

Looking to get involved? There are multiples way to be a student leader within the Office of Housing and Residence Life. 

Student Leadership

One great way to get involved is by becoming a member of your hall leadership board. Join other students in your hall, advised by the Community Director, to host events for everyone in the building to attend. We provide the budget, you provide the fun! You'll also get to serve as an advocate for change and improvements in your building, working as a liaison to Residence Life for what your peers want and need from their living experience. Look for information around campus on how to get involved in mid-September or reach out to your Community Director. 

Student Employment Opportunities

Office Assistant

The Housing and Residence Life Office Assistant would work between 5 to 10 hours a week, providing administrative support to the Office. Duties include answering phone calls, running errands around campus, assisting with paperwork, and much more. This is a great opportunity for personal development. Resident Assistant

Being a Resident Assistant is one of the premier leadership opportunities on campus! RAs are students who serve as the first point of contact for a floor of students — helping students have a safe and healthy experience in the halls, connecting them with campus resources, hosting social and educational events, and much more. RAs serve in an on-call rotation, which may include documenting policy violations in an effort to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment for all. Full job description coming soon.
