First-Year Students SOAR Prep and Deadlines

Prepare for SOAR 

(ALL DUE BY JUNE 14)

1. RSVP to SOAR

   Get your class schedule, take your student ID photo, and more! 

2. Complete the Pre-Advising Questionnaire

   This ensures your career goals and interests align well with the major you were admitted to.  

3. Complete the Math Assessment 

   This provides a recommendation for the math course that best compliments your strengths and aptitudes as well as fulfills your major and Core Curriculum requirements.

Attend SOAR 

(JUNE 20, 21, 24, or 25, 2024)

SOAR is a one-day orientation, advising, and registration program for incoming first-year students and their families. Families are strongly encouraged to attend to meet with faculty and staff members and learn about campus services. SOAR Information and registration

• Preferred Housing Contract Deadline: July 1
  • Commuter Parking Information
• Apply for Alternative Loans (as needed): July 1
• Optional Pre-Orientation Programs Application Deadline - July 10

• Health Forms Due: July 15
• All Financial Aid Paperwork Due: August 1
• Waive/enroll in Student Health Insurance: MUST either enroll or Waive August 1
