Families of New Students Information

Prepare Your Student for SOAR 

(ALL DUE BY JUNE 14)

  1. Have your Student RSVP to SOAR
    Join your student at SOAR where they will get their class schedule, take their student ID photo, and more!
  2. Have your Student Complete the Pre-Advising Questionnaire
    This ensures their career goals and interests align well with the major they were admitted to.  
  3. Have your Student Complete the Math Assessment
    This provides a recommendation for the math course that best compliments their strengths and aptitudes as well as fulfills their major and Core Curriculum requirements.

Attend SOAR with Your Student 

(JUNE 20, 21, 24, or 25, 2024)

SOAR is a one-day orientation, advising, and registration program for incoming first-year students and their families. Families are strongly encouraged to attend to meet with faculty and staff members and learn about campus services. SOAR Information and Registration
