Springfield College AmeriCorps distributes free face masks to Springfield residents
AmeriCorps partnered with Parent Villages and other local non-profits to provide Springfield residents with free face masks. The masks were given out at several Springfield schools. Springfield College AmeriCorps members helped with the production of the masks, and with the planning of the distribution efforts.
Springfield College AmeriCorps Program Receives National Funding
The Springfield College AmeriCorps Program will receive $1,133,274 in AmeriCorps funding spread out over the next three years from the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), the federal agency responsible for AmeriCorps and other national service programs.

The Springfield College AmeriCorps program started the celebration of AmeriCorps Week 2019 with a program information session and lunch on Monday, March 11, in the Cleveland E. and Phyllis B. Dodge Room in the Flynn Campus Union.

Springfield College is the recipient of the Presidential Award in the Education category of the President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll. This honor is the highest federal recognition a college or university can receive for its commitment to volunteering, service-learning, and civic engagement.
