Social Media Commenting and Posting Policy | Springfield College

Social Media Commenting and Posting Policy

For Social Media Administrators:

Social Media Administrators for official Springfield College accounts reserve the right to remove any content that violates the best practices and guidelines or is otherwise inappropriate. They also reserve the right to block users who violate these guidelines.

The Office of Marketing requests that administrators take ownership of their pages and actively work to drive traffic to College-affiliated pages. To engage audiences, administrators should actively post engaging content, questions, and information. If administrators feel they cannot provide this content, an account becomes obsolete; please be responsible and delete an account that has become inactive since these pages can do more harm than good.

For Social Media Users:

We encourage students, prospects, parents, alumni, and community members to engage with us on social media. This can take the form of comments, posts, or messages. We request that these remarks remain on-topic and respectful of the rights and opinions of others. All comments are monitored by the Office of Communications and may be removed to maintain civility and best practices. Springfield College is not responsible for content posted by others on our social media platforms

Springfield College has set forth the following terms and conditions for posts and comments on official Springfield College social media pages. Before engaging with a post, please agree to not:
