Finals week is nearly here—and we’ve got a few tips to help you succeed.

1. Don’t panic.

Mostly because you’ve got this. It never hurts to be reminded, even if you’ve already been through a few semesters of finals.

2. Find a quiet place to study.

It doesn’t matter where you go; it just matters that you find a spot that works for you. Here are a few to consider.

3. Eat right.

It may be tempting to make coffee your sole source of nutrition during finals week, but resist that urge. Eat three well-balanced meals so that your body has enough fuel to power through your exams.

4. Get enough sleep.

Getting the right amount of sleep is crucial to your success—and finals week is no exception. Make sure you’re keeping your sleep schedule as close to normal as possible.

Lack of sleep can negatively impact your immune system, memory issues, moodiness, and more. Even just a few nights of cutting back on just 1-2 hours of sleep can hinder your ability to function as badly as if you haven’t slept at all. So, sleep!

5. Relax.

You won’t get much studying done if you’re wound too tight. So in between all of that cramming, take a deep breath. Unwind. Do something fun.

Not sure where to start? Swing by Late Night Breakfast on Friday, Dec. 16 from 10 p.m. to midnight in Cheney to hang out with friends and eat delicious food.

Best of luck to everyone on their finals. We’re rooting for you!
