Springfield College Athletic Training Students Help at Baystate Games

Springfield College Assistant Professor of Exercise Science and Sport Studies Wayne Rodrigues and athletic training students recently provided medical coverage for the 2013 Massachusetts Baystate Winter Games. In addition to providing medical coverage, athletic training students provided blood pressure screening and CPR training for Baystate Winter Games participants and spectators.

Jeff Baker, a 2005 Springfield College graduate from the sport management department, serves as the assistant director for the Baystate Winter Games. Barbara Cece, who graduated from Springfield College in 1971, has served as the Baystate Winter Games Figure Skating Competition Director for the last 28 years.
