On Friday, October 17, Springfield College students, faculty members, staff members, President Mary-Beth Cooper and members of the Springfield College Board of Trustees helped make 12,096 meals for the Hunger Project: Feeding Children Everywhere.  The food was donated locally to the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts.

Members of the Springfield College Activities Board, Office of Student Activities, and the Office of Volunteer Programs helped host this social charity event that empowers and mobilizes people to assemble healthy meals for children.

The goal was 10,000 meals, which was surpassed by the Springfield College campus community in just 70 minutes
