Springfield College Department of Education Hosts Teacher Educator Institute

During the week of March 12 through March 16, the Springfield College Department of Education co-sponsored a Teacher Educator Institute along with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

The event was a three-day Institute attended by teacher educators from all across the Commonwealth. Over 30 institutions were represented. Springfield College had four faculty members participating including Steven Groccia, Donna Richards, Nicole Wassell, and Linda Davis-Delano. The focus for the Institute was on providing teacher educators with ideas on how to embed more practice of discrete pedagogical skills across the curriculum in all teacher education classrooms.
