Four Western Massachusetts school districts could employ more teachers of color by 2020, thanks to a grant that will help paraprofessionals become certified teachers.
The Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts awarded the one-year grant of $133,000 to help schools in Springfield, Holyoke, Northampton and Amherst.
