Springfield College has partnered with Easterseals, NH, ME, VT and Farnum to assist with providing education and training opportunities for human services related to Easterseals professionals.

“As a Springfield College alumna, I am so proud of this partnership with our agency,” said Nancy Rollins, Chief Operating Officer for Easterseals, NH, ME, VT, and Farnum. “The opportunity to support our dedicated staff further their education and gain the knowledge and skills to move their career forward, is fundamental to Easterseals continued growth and success.”

As part of the agreement, Springfield College will provide employee partnership grants to Easterseals employees who are enrolled in Springfield College Regional and Online Continuing Education degree programs through any of its locations including: Springfield, Mass.; Boston, Mass.; St. Johnsbury, Vt.; Wilmington, Del.; Milwaukee, Wis.; Tampa Bay, Fla.; and Houston, Texas.

Easterseals employees will be eligible to receive a partnership grant for each degree pursued at Springfield College, and the grant will be awarded through the Springfield College financial aid process.

In addition to the employee grants, Easterseals employees may also be eligible to have prior learning evaluated for college credit. Credits may be awarded as transfer credits for completed and approved trainings and certifications or through a prior learning assessment portfolio process as outlined in the College’s experiential learning handbook.
