Springfield College Theater Hosts William Simpson Arts Series Performance

she-kills-monsters.jpgSpringfield College Theater presented a theater production entitled, She Kills Monsters by Qui Nguyen, and Directed by Martin Shell, from Thursday, April 3, through Sunday, April 6, in the Fuller Arts Center. The performance was part of the 2014 William Simpson Fine Arts Series.

Created by Springfield College students and directed by Springfield College Professor of Theater Arts Martin Shell, this production focused on Average Agnes returning to her childhood home following the death of her totally weird little sister, Tilly.  Average Agnes embarks on an action-packed adventure to discover more about her sister than she previously cared to know.  The performance was a high-octane comedy fraught with hostile fairies, randy ogres, bloodthirsty cheerleaders, and 90’s pop culture.

The 2014 Springfield College William Simpson Fine Arts Series spring schedule features a variety of art exhibitions, theater performances, film events, concerts, readings, and dance performances.
