Accounting and finance major Christian Habeil was named a recipient of a 2017 Sigma Beta Delta Fellowship Award Recipient. The Sigma Beta Delta Fellowship Program provides cash-awards to students to encourage and support future academic studies.
A Rocklin, Calif., native, Habeil has earned dean’s list status at Springfield College on multiple occasions, including most recently in spring 2017. Habeil joins Joe Capossela and Jordyn Moquin as Springfield College students to earn a Sigma Beta Delta Fellowship Award during the last three consecutive years.
Each year, the Sigma Beta Delta Fellowship program awards more than 20 fellowships, ranging from $1,000 to $1,500, to qualifying members for use in their academic studies. Each local chapter nominates one new qualifying SBD member for the awards each academic year. Recipients of the fellowships are required to provide proof of future education enrollment in order to receive the award.
