Whether you’re a budding or seasoned artist, the Animation minor at Springfield College will allow you to explore your creativity. Through art and computer courses, including a studio course in drawing, students will learn the basics of 3D character building and game design.  Core classes allow students to familiarize themselves with C++ and Java before specializing their minor to focus on video game design, digital sculpting, or advanced rigging and animation.

Art or computer graphics and digital arts majors may choose this minor to supplement their artistic skills, while students in other majors can explore animation as a creative outlet.
