The Art Therapy minor at Springfield College introduces students to the therapeutic use of art through a blend of studio art, psychology, and community engagement. Students develop foundational skills in visual arts and art therapy theory while exploring how creative expression can support individuals and communities across a variety of settings. Coursework prepares students for future graduate study and careers related to mental health, education, healthcare, and community arts programming.
