The Pre-Medicine minor at Springfield College prepares students for careers in medicine through structured advising, prerequisite coursework, and guidance on the medical school application process. Students develop a strong academic foundation while exploring pathways to medical careers, preparing for the MCAT, and identifying meaningful experiential learning opportunities.
The program supports professional growth through early exposure to the expectations and competencies required in healthcare professions. Students receive personalized guidance in academic planning, goal setting, and career readiness, while exploring opportunities in research, service learning, shadowing, and clinical experiences.
Grounded in the College’s mission of leadership and service, the Pre-Medicine minor helps students become ethical, compassionate healthcare professionals with strong skills in communication, collaboration, and critical decision-making.
