If so, the Springfield College Pre-Medical and Pre-Health Scholars (PMPHS) program is dedicated to empowering students on their journey toward a rewarding medical or health career. In addition to your academic advisor and the Academic Advising Services, the director of PMPHS offers students support in navigating the complex academic and extracurricular requirements of pre-medical and pre-health pathways.

What kinds of careers are available in the health sciences?

Careers in the health professions often require graduate school training after receiving a bachelor’s degree. There are a multitude of options you can pursue for a career in the health professions.

Choosing a Major

What major should I choose?

It is possible to enter medical school with any major, as long as you have also taken the required courses. Springfield College offers health-related specific programs which encompass many of these required courses.
