Our students benefit from an education that is grounded in theory and best practices. They graduate to become advocates for change who are able to recognize and address individual and systemic issues of inequity and injustice.  As professional counselors, our graduates are educated in the Humanics philosophy to serve individuals in clinical mental health, school, and rehabilitation counseling settings.

As a Springfield College counseling student you can obtain the experience and skills necessary to practice as competent professional counselors; obtain the skills and competencies to serve diverse clients in a wide range of settings with a strong social justice and equity focus; and, embody the spirit of Humanics and become leaders in the field and in their specialty areas.
