Nonprofit Organizations
The Student Government Association (SGA) promotes the interests and welfare of the student body and guides and finances more than 50 registered student organizations. Managed by elected students, SGA approves funding for active student organizations, adopts policies affecting students, and serves as a liaison between students and the College administration.
Dr. Debra Salsi, an assistant professor at Springfield College PCS, discusses effective and efficient processes for maintaining a nonprofit business, as discussed in her courses for those pursuing an MBA with a concentration in nonprofit management.
Despite first appearances and the amount of athletic gear one sees about the campus, Madison Cox, a first-year, describes how there is so much more to Springfield College than just sports, and so many ways to find people with similar interests as your own.
