Education majors teaching

In the summer of 2026, some students in Springfield College Education programs participated in professional development training in teaching literacy and then served as Literacy Intervention Teachers (LITs). The Western Mass Literacy Collaborative-run program, through the work of the participating teachers, helps hundreds of local students improve their reading skills.
